PAWE for AEDs

Protect Hearts and Save Lives!

PAs for Women Empowerment is focused on advocating for women in the PA Profession and promoting the rise of women in healthcare and leadership.

In 2024, PAWE successfully led the adoption of a new AAPA policy advocating for public schools to have automated external defibrillators (AEDs) readily available.

We are now taking it one step further by partnering with GotAED and Simon's Heart - a nonprofit dedicated to preventing sudden cardiac arrest and death in children, teens and young adults. Through them, we will be fundraising to place AEDs throughout the various PAWE regions. Please join us in supporting our efforts. You can either donate to the general fund or identify a specific organization or school in need of an AED (fill in the Organization Name field when checking out).

Each AED package will include:
- AED device with battery, adult pads, and pediatric pads
- An indoor mountable wall cabinet or a backpack for on-the-go.
- First response kit

Together we can protect hearts and save lives!
